Please make sure you file a support request with SOE, with as much info as you can. I'm pushing on them to figure this issue out from my side as well.

We're working on our next group mission like that. It's called "Bey's Retreat" and is level 25. It will take a full group of six players about two hours to complete. It's epic and awesome and I can't wait for you to see it.

Black Point has a series of collection quests that will take you approximately, oh, forever. But if you finally finish them, you'll get something pretty freaking cool that isn't available anywhere else in the game.

Lackey, what is the ID number of your bug? That feature is working fine for us in the office.

In v1.1, coming shortly, we are cutting the initial countdown from 60 seconds to 30 seconds. (It looks like it's 45 because the first 15 seconds are during the loading screen.) That will shorten the initial delay before combat starts if the other captain is stalling.

We are still discussing the rest of the issues involved in this tactic, but that's the first step.

Quick question - we notice that you have fraps installed, are you trying to run it while running the game?

Actually, you can find a female NPC in the game who is carrying a struggling male pirate thrown over her shoulder. But she's way higher level than that NPC in Marsh Harbour, so you won't find her until much later in the game.

Password issues? For the game or his D2D account?

If he's having issues with his Station password, he shouldn't be contacting D2D. He should contact SOE.

I looked at the SOE Station store and there is a link called "Forget Station Password?". He should try that. It should give him a box that says "Forgot Station Password?

Once you click on it, it says

"Enter your Station Username and we will e-mail you a link you may use to reset your password"

Edit: oh yeah, you asked what to do. Mmm, you're on a laptop, pretty much impossible to upgrade the built-in video... buy a new laptop with high-performance gaming support, or play on a desktop machine.

Lord Angus: Maybe. Wikipedia indicates that this chipset added support for shader versions 2.0, but obviously if you're still getting the message, something is wrong. What does it say at the end of your latest PotBS log in My Documents\Pirates of the Burning Sea\log?
