It's not a matter of if we CAN do it (You're right, it would be trivial to implement). The reason we WON'T do it is an economic one. If you would like to discuss the relative value of capture deeds versus crafted deeds, I encourage you to open a thread in the economy sub-forum.

I promised it would be working AFTER release. That is still true. You're going to wait for the patch that contains the fix.

I'd like to see some solution to this for people who have completed the quest already. It may seem strange, but it doesn't really have to be 'useful' to me. Purely a memento of completing the story arc. I know there are plenty of MMO players that fall into this category as well.

Yeah, I understand where you're coming from. I'm the same kind of RP'er. This potentially affects a lot of people, so I'm considering ways to get the handkerchief to you all. But best case scenario would be that the mission was in the first content patch, and I can't even promise that will happen. There's only so much we can put in that patch, and this issue is not going to get high priority (we've got bigger fish to fry). I'll be sure to post when I have news.
