First....

1. Do you have a retail version of the game and have applied it?
2. Did you set up your subscription and are able to play the game?
3. Did you make sure to "log in" at www.burningsea.com (go to the top right and see if it says "Log in" or "log out"?

And...all this is applied correctly to the same account used for open beta?

No, you need a valid subscription payment method via CC or Game Card. However, if you have a friend who bought the game, you can ask for their buddy key which came with the retail box.

We do not have current plans for a free trial at this time. You can, however, get a buddy key from a friend who buys the game.

No, it's not a "free" 30 days. You have 30 days until your billed for your subscription. The first 30 days are bundled in with your game purchase.

You still have to have a valid subscription to play. You need to attach a credit card or SOE Game Card to create a subscription. You aren't charged until 30 days later, as the first month is bundled together with the game price.

The key is to activate your live account...that you bought the game. You still need to subscribe.
