The timer is actually 60 seconds, but the first 15 are typically in the loading screen.

We have dropped the timer to 30 seconds in v1.1. Effectively that means it'll be about 15 seconds.

The purpose of the timer is to ensure both players get loaded fully before the fight starts.

If they were able to sink you in <60 seconds after you grappled that guy, removing the timer probably wouldn't have helped.

FYI, the bug where you could force a port completely into contention via turnins was fixed overnight. It shouldn't be possible now.

They are still working on them but they tell us it's a high priority.

The changes we've made on our end have helped many people, but we're definitely waiting on those drivers for the real solution.

We always ban accounts for gold spamming, never characters. Banning characters would be silly.

SOE does the permabanning for us. We ban them at the game end, and SOE bans them at the Station end. This all works fine.
