We put up these answers, and then you ask the same questions again, except demanding that if we don't show up in your particular thread, that that somehow means something. But I live to oblige:
1) You don't have to go into the PvP zone. When you're not in the PvP zone, you can't be attacked unless you have a flag up.
2) Part of the fight is planning the engagement. If you expect to just drift around by yourself, you have to work harder at setting up the fight.
3) We regularly work on tuning the ships and costs so that the conditions of the fight are more balanced.
4) There are some tactics that we've discovered that work around the game rules to allow players to gang up on others in ways that are unavoidable, even by a good player. We've worked to close those holes, and are continuing that work.
5) If you want to PvP with guaranteed equal odds, we're working on the Player Skirmish system that will provide that experience.
Here's what we're not promising: That you can enter into Open PvP at any level, with any ship, with any number in your party, and be invulnerable to attack except by equal, or lesser forces.
On the other hand, if you a) identify where you think that ganking is happening in an unvoidable way, or you have an idea that would incent encounters that you think are more fun, then we're certainly willing to listen.
