We've deployed the update. You guys should be good to go. Blackbeard still has some unrelated issues we're currently looking into.

We believe we have the root core of this problem fixed. Please let us know if it's continuing to affect you.

It's nice if you do it reasonably, because it's harder to hear when everyone's shouting, but complaints alert us to problems and help us fix them.

Actually, I have. The Mote in God's Eye. It had the last forty pages duplicated as the previous forty pages. What's horrific is that I was reading it in Germany, and there were no other english versions available. By the time I got back to the States, and found a copy, and read the last forty pages, I had no idea what was going on. D'oh!

We have the update deployed, and the server listing process seems to be behaving much better. Are you guys still having any problems?

We did. And so we did all sorts of testing, both stress tests, open beta, and automated stress testing. There is simply no substitute for actual release.

As for the problems on Blackbeard, we're currently looking at them and should have something soon.
