Cagey, we found your original support ticket. It didn't get escalated because there wasn't enough info in the original report, and when we asked for more info, it looks like it was closed by you (perhaps accidentally?).

Anyway, we're researching it now with the current information.

I think I would have remembered something like that. But then..uh...I'm kinda old and stuff. So it's best to remind me.

You're correct; gives us your ticket numbers, not cut/paste the tickets. That's what we need. Thanks.

Yet nothing has been resolved to date.
1) The GM isn't being lazy. There are technical reasons that make it difficult to do what you're asking for.
2) For people who were kicked, it would be useful to file a support incident and tell us exactly what happened to you (were you kicked, did you crash, etc.)
3)When you say you've reported something, please include the support ticket number so we can actually find it.

We're currently looking into what we can do for you.

I closed it temporarily to clean up the potty mouths. If you go back, you'll see it is once again open.

Challenging, that, as Charles died in 1685.

The ship pictured here, with a modern double spritsail, chainwales above the upper deck, a gaff-and-boom mizzen sail, and other advanced features appears to date from circa 1790. Note the modern French flag at the stern as well, even though much of the d?r appears to be a potpourri of earlier styles.

In any case, the general thrust is: yes, some ships carried about 74 guns well before the game's time period. However, their layout was much different than the "classic 74," having fewer heavy guns and more lighter guns than eventually settled on in the 1760's. They were also much smaller, and a to-scale "classic 74" would look and feel very much out of place next to our other ships.

I fully agree with that sentiment.

As for when, very soon -- we're not going to shut down a major game system just for the heck of it.

It was a bug fix that went to the wrong department, when the appropriate response was that the gun mismatch was by design and shouldn't be fixed.
