I pre-ordered at Gamestop while I was home for Thanksgiving. I paid $5 cash for our soundtrack disc with no expectation of going back to buy the retail box. Obviously my situation is a bit different, just pointing out that a pre-order does not necessarily imply an order. We don't have (or want!) access to retailers' data that would allow us to determine whether you are expecting a box.

The real issue is that SOE's billing system is set up to turn off one set of keys and turn on another. Allowing one account to simultaneously access a pre-release subscription and a post-release subscription would lead to a whole host of issues that I don't even want to think about because they'd give me nightmares like cockroaches.

on the machine I was testing with today, I couldn't get repro, and then turned off SLI and tried it again. Then it repro'd.

Ok, here's where we're at:

1) If you run the game in Windowed mode, it seems to fix all the flickering issues. Which means the issue is in the drivers.
2) The crash to desktop is a memory leak, and we just found and fixed it today. It also may account for some of the other odd behavior that's been found.

Can you guys with flashing problems please try out the windowed mode and let us know if we're correct on that?
