I wish we'd had more time to provide you all more notice. The unfortunate reality is that we came across a serious bug this afternoon and HAD to fix it ASAP. The timing sucks, but unfortunately there's not much that could be done about it.

Trust me, I'd much rather be in bed sleeping right about now

We beat this particular horse in another thread, but Raids aren't the "must do!" activity as in WoW. We're not as equipment centric as WoW, for starters. And these aren't huge, endless events that casual players can't participate in.

As for "how can they do <feature X> when <feature Y> needs improvement", keep in mind there are quite a few people here, and they all work on different things.

It depends on your particular video card/machine. We have essentially three problems, two of which are fixed by the build going out to testbed tomorrow, and one we need more time with Nvidia to track down. But if you've got one of the machines that are affected by the memory leak, you'd think the game was quite buggy.
