Can you run dxDiag from the 'run' command in your start menu and post the results here? There are some older processors that Ageia doesn't support. I'm wondering if you have one of those.

Flag and sail processing isn't happening nearly as fast as anyone -- ANYONE -- wants, but it's still ongoing. We have very limited resources to throw at the problem right now, and all those resources have responsibilities outside of User Content reviews. It's not something that can be predicted like clockwork.

That said, we've acknowledged for some time that things aren't working as smoothely as we'd hoped, and once I get the approval from on high you'll get to read a devlog describing a bit more about User Content, where it is, and where it's going.

Looking spectacular, what a comeback! Welcome back! Great render, too

I have just three quick comments:

1) You'll want to add a few feet to the topmasts to give them some overlap with the flagstaffs. The proportion would be about the same as the topmast - topgallant overlap.

2) Even if it will be bare, you might consider adding a mizzen flagstaff as well. At minimum, you'll want to add a truck (cap -- like on the stern flagstaff) to finish off the mizzen topmast.

3) The tiller would indeed come within a few feet of the quarterdeck rail, but keep in mind they rarely operated on a full sweep of the deck. The rudder in this period was confined to about a 60 degree sweep -- 30 degrees to either side.

It's better to check the damage done by using the tooltip over the armor facing instead of the floating damage numbers. There have been some problems with the numbers in the past.

The skills discussed here are related to Avatar Combat. You can respec your avatar combat school to anything you'd like, unrestricted by career.
