That's impossible for us to control. Right now, if you don't want to get pulled in when your group member gets attacked, then you can just ungroup. Thus declining the prompt is no different than what we have in game right now. We can't avoid players circumventing the Ad-Hoc auto join unless we make it based on side instead of group, which brings a host of different problems. So, this gives players the versatility of deciding whether they want the grouped or ungrouped behavior for joining.

If you're not immune to attack for a few seconds to acknowledge the prompt, then the prompt becomes a default "help the enemy split my group" option. Large, coordinated societies would eat 6-man groups alive if they had join prompts w/o protection. It's possible that we'll merge several attacks instead of providing protection in the future, but that significant expands the scope here and would have delayed the fixes.

If you're in a convoy, then your escort can attack a group, pulling them into the instance, and you can say "no" to joining, and keep sailing for that port that is only 30 miles away.
Again, you can already do this - just don't group.

The credit belongs with the shipwright who put the effort into making the model and allowing us to replace the Triton.

It's not quite that simple. The situation you describe is the ideal situation as far as the timer goes.

It's from Ibrahim in the Algerian Consulate.

Well, one of them can't get resolved (death in the family), so it has been pretty tough. It's funny, in person, he's nothing like he is on the forums and the game. He's quite charming and funny with some really cool interests.

but i know this is a matter of taste. so, why don't make this customisable? i mean: a switch "borderless, with border" and one "background, no background"

plus, chat font are too large, or too small. and someone could whant different font too

last, but not least, chat window border are "too big". i think user interface must have higher free space/toolbar ratio and bif window border (big almost half a toolbar button O.o more with slider...) is too much

and changing different channel with tab (or other hotkeys) would be nice too

just my 0.02 dooblons
Ooooh just wait until you see the new chat window in 1.2! It's more transparent and much slimmer. I hope you like the changes we've made!

Also, if the default text colors aren't doing it for you, you can already change those in preferences :-)

1 in thread Forum Name [New User Questions]
Whilst it is easy to make a change in VBulletin normally, it's not for us because your forum name is tied to your Station account and your User Content.

If you have a good reason why you'd need to change it, you can submit a Support request (Click on "Support" in the upper right corner) with your request and reasons for a change.

The web team will review it and see if it can be done.

Nice machine Nefarious!

The hitches in the ocean sea most likely have nothing to do with your video card - it's the process of new ships spawning which can be awfully expensive. We're working on it on our end and have made a few improvements, but it'll be a little bit before those make it to you!

There's nothing in the AI abandon code that makes them less likely to surrender to groups. However, no one will surrender in less than X amount of time. If you have a group focusing fire you can kill ships before they're willing to surrender.

1 in thread RvR Point balance... [Ask an FLS Developer!]
There was no promise that it'd be in the next patch in that post. He said he'd fix it in the next week. Depending on the branch it goes in, that means it could take quite some time before it goes live. In this case, it's probably in 1.2.
