I think you confused me. NEED MOAR COFFEE TO READ.

Some of the AIs use custom behavior personalities that are specific for this encounter (ie: they wouldn't work globally).

By design. :P

Dez is optional. No scaling.

Activation cost is lower. Max morale block is the same. So, they still take up 50 of your morale pool, but it's much cheaper to switch from one unpredictability to the other.

Use Attack Target, or Signals/Devil Take the Hindmost for ship combat. If you apply those, then someone uses tab-target, it will prioritize those targets. So if you use attack target on an LT, then I hit tab it'll jump to him first.

The new clothing items in 1.2 are mission rewards... so you'll have to do missions to get them.

The UI things are great changes. Bubbles fade a bit quickly.

The sky on the OS is awful. The pix below is with graphics on high settings. The clouds move when you scroll - that shouldn't happen.

Bey's retreat seems very hard for level 25s.

GMs & Devs did a great job staging the event.
Bruce is looking into what's going on with the OS sky.

This thread has gone to a very unhappy place. Let's remember the section of the Community Rules called "Respecting our Global Community". If you need a refresher, just clicky on the link in my sig.

And a follow up about "quit" threads. Read a brilliant post by Aether:

And so, I asked our forum moderators to be on the lookout for these kinds of threads, and once discovered, to move them to that special place where we store... well, those special threads.

However, not every "I'm Leaving" thread is a bad one- I just spent some time looking over the thread you are discussing here, and it appears very reasonable with some thoughtful insight.

We are going to make an extra effort to discern between reasonable departure discussions, and those incendiary threads where folks are simply looking to draw some blood.

In the meantime, please also understand that Danicia isn't the only moderator here on the PotBS forums. I've noticed some misplaced ire of late, but Dani is far too much of a professional to engage in a debate or correct people's misconceptions on how forum moderation works. That's a tough spot to be in, but our forum moderators knew that coming in.

The bottom line is this: At the end of the day, the buck stops with me. If you don't agree with a policy or the way something was handled, don't take it out on our fantastic forum team. They are just doing as they have been asked- a damn fine job of it, if you don't mind my saying so.

So there you have it, if you really feel the need to kick someone in their soft-parts, aim for mine. Or, better yet, you can accept our combined apology and re-engage with the interrupted thread, already in progress: Thanks for all the fish

Either way, I'm wearing a cup.

Best,
Aether

Really gang, you can talk about how you're leaving. You can talk about how you're staying. I'd recommend reading the bits about why threads get locked or moved to the special place.

It's not that folks are happy or not. It's that everyone should be able to say they're happy or upset and not get flamed or trolled.

Keep it friendly, regardless of your opinion...threads stay open.

Hello all,

We do encourage people to discuss and even debate almost whatever they wish. As long as people do not break the PotBS Community Rules, you can discuss your thoughts on the game.

However, if you do want to respond to a post where folks have expressed frustration or dissatisfaction, you should also be following the PotBS Community Rules.

Specifically, these rules:

- Do not abuse new users
Remember that new users will not always know where to find information that may be common knowledge to the seasoned forum user.

-No Flaming
While debate and discussion are encouraged, we will not tolerate rude or insulting posts, personal attacks or inflammatory posts of any kind.

-No Trolling
Posting in a thread for the sole purpose of harassing a user or derailing / hijacking a thread topic is not allowed.
