We plan to gradually introduce more variants. They take quite a bit of time to create, and our focus for new variants is more on the 30-50 range right now than the 10-20 range.

Minor ships are horrible. They're nerfed into oblivion, and you'd be doing yourself a huge disservice if you sailed one. Mosts of their stats are reduced to 60% without the same drop in their level req. Aside from that, it's a lot more work than it's worth.
