I've commented on this a few times, but it's common for dev comments to get lost in the shuffle and perpetuate the perceived obliviousness.

Yes, when I mentioned we're considering ways to approach it, I was referring to a large set of potential systems that would help long-range travel without impacting short range travel, maneuverability & PvP.

This is something we're interested in doing, but crates don't work in a way that's conductive for wide-scale use. It'd require creating and debugging thousands of new items. That would take a lot of time away from developing other things that are higher on the priority list.

Looks like you may have already seen Answer 200. A better way to get support is to log an incident at burningsea.com/support. Attach the files there that you did here, and we'll get 'em to the right folks to look into.

Hi Enemo,

Have you filed a support request for this yet? I'm not sure what's happening in your case (it'd be useful to get your machine specs), but I downloaded the game fresh last night and it took a few hours to come down. That was on XP Media Center 2005 with a 600k a sec download.
