The Arcadia is a two-deck ship, and the ship's creator has stated as much. ArtCo didn't know that when the ship was created, thus the model didn't support the topdeck. When it was added, we said it was a 2 deck ship but we'd rather have it in game with the wrong decks than wait until the decks were right. There were a few bug fixes in 1.1, but there wasn't any individual ship tuning/recalculation work. That will come for the Arcadia and other ships in 1.2, after the global tuning changes that should be in mid 1.1.

There was not a single level 10+ small or medium ship in the game that could not outrange 32lb guns.

I was actually talking about performance bonuses if you're in a large society. We have a bug where you can hit various stutters if you're a member of a large society.

You should earn an MOV anytime you earn XP from defeating a player.

Earning XP is based on the difference in level between your ship and the ship of the defeated player. The maximum difference for which we award XP is 15 levels.

This means is your ship is 16 levels higher than the ship you defeated, you get no XP and no Mark of Victory.

So: if most of your fights have been against players in ships that were 16 levels lower than your ship, you get no Marks of Victory.

Nope, only unrest accumulation was affected, not decay. That would defeat the purpose of increasing unrest accumulation.

We have no intention of being down every night.

Our maintenance window is between 1:30am and 3:30am Pacific time. What that means is if there is maintenance to do, that's when it happens.

The period immediately after an MMO launches usually sees frequent patches and maintenance issues. That's what we're going through right now -- the growing pains that occur after launch. As things settle down, these maintenance needs will become much less frequent.

We removed Marks of Victory from the Conquest missions due to an exploit we discovered.

In v1.1 they are returning on the new Unrest Bundle turnin missions for Conquest. You can get MoVs that way.

We are working on other ways to award MoVs, but we had to act fast on this issue due to the exploit. And no, we don't discuss or explain exploits.

The main thing you need to use a careening camp is a Hulk. You get Hulks from defeated ships upon whom you use the Scavenge skill. Scavenge has a good chance of giving you a Hulk of the same size category as the ship you defeated. With a hulk and some provisions, which can also come from Scavenge, you can use the careening camp to make ships.

Buy orders are on our list of features to add after launch. We've discussed how to do them in a way that won't damage the economy or the AH system and are pretty confident we're heading in the right direction. I don't have a timetable for when this feature will be added but we do consider it both desirable and a solvable problem.
