This has been an internal discussion that I sadly have missed a couple of weeks of, and don't know where we are on it. PvP needs to have loss, but it shouldn't be something that pushes you to crazy amounts of non PvP to be able to afford PvP. Figuring this out requires a lot of analysis of the numbers and player activities, though.

I think Beltpouch's issue (chime in here if i'm wrong) is the number/amount of PvP zones. SWBgHz, I know your issue is about the aforementioned resource cost. Bear with me if i've asked these questions already, i'm just getting back in the swing of things:

1) What class are you playing?
2) When you take ships out, are you taking expensive ships or cheap ships?
3) Are they heavily outfitted, or lightly outfitted?

It's the same as it always was, about 30% PvP. When we tune the game, we wait a while to see what happens before we tune it more. The fact that it's not at the amount of PvP that we want doesn't mean that we're a) throwing out some changes immediately or b) done making changes.

Honestly, I'm not too concerned about dear Beltpouch leaving, because I don't think there's a disconnect between where we're driving to and what he'd like. I think it's more a matter of timing than anything else.

When you click "submit" you are in effect signing a written statement -- at least that's what I've been told our legal has said.

Ugh, yes. I can't say I'm sorry enough on this one, and yes, it's a high priority issue for us. I'm not sure if there's any relief in this patch, but i'm pretty sure in the next one (the content patch, about 3-4 weeks) there will be.

Four questions:

1) While you're at the opening screen, where you see your character standing there, but before you've entered the game world, does it freeze up every 4 seconds?

2) Have you submitted a support ticket?

3) Can you attach your DXdiag to a post?

4) In anticipation of #3, do you have an AGP port or a PCI Express? I'm betting on the former.

Hi Mysterio,

Excellent job on submitting the support ticket. One added thing that may help get it solved sooner: Can you grab your DXdiag and attach it to a post?
