Yes, it is a bug on the tooltip, you cannot lose items from your personal inventory when your ship sinks.

Tom's taken the necessary steps to collect your thoughts on the /toot controversy, and as a result we are looking into a means for folks to recuse themselves from this digital vaporous effrontery, should they so choose.

Until such a remedy can be applied, I'm encouraging those who find offense with /toot to do as one might in the real world: ignore it, while finding the farthest point possible from the auditory offender.

This thread is now closed, a not-so-subtle hint on how we'll handle this particular debate in the future.

I haven't seen them yet either, but people in the office have. I think it depends on where you are sailing. I'd like to get them appeariing more often.

We have animated dolphins, sharks, whales and manta rays and they all should be out there somewhere. In town we have a chicken and CharCo just finished modeling cows and pigs so we are going to start animating them soon.

This isn't an assault on emotes in general, it's only a request that I be allowed to choose not to hear one particular sound which a particular sort of person seems to delight in making, endlessly, and which I cannot at present stop save by turning off all sound in the game.

I thank you for addressing this issue. But if you're going to take offense and try to punish the players by removing plans for interesting emotes, have the decency to take responsibility for that decision yourself, rather than trying to blame me for it.
