Any advice would be nice.
Packetshaper is the product that Packeteer the company sells. If you can talk your school's IT staff into it, Answer 211 should work for you until Packeteer works through their feature request queue and gives us all some love.

Worth repeating: if your IT staff is worried about the legitimacy of your request, we encourage them to contact us.

1 in thread Bigpond User Content [Flags and Sails]
UPDATE: We've pushed through a change on Invincible that should fix User Content for BigPond users. You'll need to clear out your local User Content folder in order to refresh your client:

* (under Windows XP: ) [Drive]:/Documents and Settings/[Username]/My Documents/Pirates of the Burning Sea/user content/

* (under Windows Vista: ) [Drive]:/Users/[Username]/Documents/Pirates of the Burning Sea/user content/

When you log back into the game, you should see your and others' User Content properly.

If you don't, double check the following:

A) You have a BigPond account and have submitted your User Content through it;

B) Your User Content has in fact been approved for use in the game.

If A) and B) apply and you still don't see any User Content, there is some other issue at play. Please file a support request and post the ticket number in this thread.

Thanks for your patience, and enjoy the game!

It's the same version as the download. Both are full copies of the game.

You should be able to use your GA account to post on the forums. YOu have to make sure you completely log out of the forums with your Station account first.

Go to www.burningsea.com and click on "log out" in the upper right corner. Close browser, relaunch and click on "log in". Use your GA information.

If it doesn't work, you should clear your burningsea.com cookie and clear your temp internet files. If that doesn't work, please file a support ticket.

Cheers,
Dani

1 in thread Problems with Re-Subscriptions? [Sony Station accounts]
You'll need to check out SOE Billing Support for more information. I believe there are a few FAQs about European billing and current issues.

Good luck!

We're working on it. Please remember we're located West Coast US time so most of the world is awake and ready whilst we're still in bed.

Yes, you can.

You cannot. You can only be logged into one account/game at a time.

If you launch potbs and then try to launch eq2 on a different machine, it will log you out of PotBS. It's no different than trying to launch two sessions of Potbs from a single account.

Even though a station pass gives you the ability to pay one subscription fee for all games, it is still only a single account. You can't run many sessions of a single account.

Now, you *can* run two sessions of the same game on one computer. To do so, you'd have to have two separate accounts (whether regular or station pass).

Two station pass accounts = two regular accounts.

Hope that helps!
