Yes, that's what was decided. If you lose your 'Algiers' polacre, then you'll eventually be able to get another one at level 35, if you so choose. If it's no longer valuable to you at that level, then you don't need to get it.

Part of what makes it cool is that it's rare and difficult to get. It's meant to be a mission reward, not a standard item in the game, so the difficulty is intentional.

It's an oft-requested feature and one we'd like to implement some day. I'm not sure when that day might come, but it's not on the immediate horizon at present.

I am going to lock this, as things are becoming a little too heated.

To reiterate: as far as we are concerned, bounties and wanted posters are fine and within the rules, as long as they are posted in the Marketplace forum.

Please be cordial and use this thread to discuss the bounty itself, not the merits or philosophy behind bounties in general.

Thank you!

For those of you who have gotten the refit item to turn a 'Mystique' Polacre into an 'Algiers' Polacre: Hold on to it. In 1.3, you will be able to turn it in to Ismail in Grand Turk after completing the RP story arc.

Sorry this has been a long time in coming. I didn't realize how popular the 'Algiers' Polacre would be and only considered it a vanity item mission reward. It seems however, that people love the ship and are finding it useful all the way to level 50.

No. It's supposed to be impossible to join any fight that was initiating when you weren't already on the open sea. It's not, true now and that's a pri 1 bug.

Right. That's what's supposed to happen.

The majority of the time, when you get an ensign, you also get doubloons. All of the increased chances for battle ensigns include a money reward.

They were never supposed to be low-cost options for higher level ships.

My other question is port battles. I am a French national now, but I will admit the pirates do have a hard time in port battles. Do you have a new idea on how to improve their play experience?
They'll still be there, though you'll have to look for them (they might be in jail, for example).

We've got some ideas we're working on to improve Pirates playing the NvN game.

It's currently under discussion.
