I'm about 85% sure that's a known issue that's been around for quite some time. Someone feel free to correct me while I search our bug database. But I feel good it's not going to stop us pushing this build.

We've posted a potential fix on Bonny. If you have an existing character on Bonny, please log in and let us know here whether the issue seems resolved.

We do realize you're not paying to test for us and we do appreciate your patience and any feedback you have. However, this issue only occurred on the live clusters (not Testbed, not internally) so we feel this is the safest course of action.

Turning contention off was were things really started going wrong for a lot of people. It would be far better for the game if you turned it back on while we wait for the new system.
It's a valid point. I just worry about PvP dropping off without it. I'll chat with the guys, though I think we're more inclined to just push on the real fix and get it out there as soon as possible.

My goal is for new players to play the skirmish system so that they can learn how to play PvP, and then get into a group and go into the red zone. What we really need to do is to provide information to new players as to what the red zone represents.

And we need to close up the problem with ports blinking into PvP, capturing new players.
