Probably not. We won't be deploying a fix on a Friday or a weekend. Chances of deploying Monday are slim.

I know this seems like a reasonable idea, but trust me, there are all sorts of things we will find (and have found). It's a big deal, and occupied a lot of time in 1.3.

I'm talking about new content that will keep you hooked again and again. Eye candy like that is really neat.. but doesn't keep you entertained longer than a week.
Not to jump in on Joe's thread, but there's a combination of eye candy and new mission types for the pillaging system, as well as direct rewards for Pirates.

Do you need more folks transfering to test center?

I made a seperate recommendation for the test center to sport a few GM created red circles, so societies from different servers could face off against one another without having to grind/spike. I thought this might help you test concurrency. That aside, I'm sure the playerbase would love to know if you need more help and if so, what we can do?
Invincible is coming on line early next week (which is when the disks hit - it seems like an unbelievably long time as I'm waiting). Though I'm fairly sure the answer will match up with the stress testing we're doing in house.

I saw a thread about reducing the effort required to do PvP on the test server to help test some PvP issues, but I don't know what happened with that. We've already started getting a bunch of people copying to testbed, but the more the merrier!

Nice BTW to see that I recall SWG being pretty much every NPC standing still and cities just looking dead nice to see some life
Mat, Lindsey and I are responsible for the character animations. We've been trying hard to make our cities feel alive.

What I'm trying to say; is that POTBS NPC's seem to be independant from normal NPC's you'd encounter in battle; different coding/animation skeletton; while SWG's npc are all made on the same template; while some have extra scripting... but still the same stuff.

One exception to this "generic" rule in starwars though; the themeparks; look at jabba's palace for example.
Actually, all the characters in game share the same skeleton. Because of our smaller team, we had to sacrifice different body types with the ability to share all animations. Now that we are post launch, we are working to diversify NPC's.

1 in thread Known Issue: Loot Books Sans Loot? [News and Press Releases]
A glitch in the last build has created a problem wherein loot books are not functioning as intended.

The issue is being addressed now, and we will be providing our customers with additional (and functional!) loot books for the inconvenience.

We sincerely apologize for the oversight and thank you for your patience as we work to remedy the problem.

Best,
Aether
