You will not be able to use the Bigpond account to log into the SOE version of the game. However, you should check with the Game Arena site about the DVDs that are being sent out.

Do you have the keys that came in the preorder box?

One was for access into pre-board.
One was for your parrot/swords for pre-board
One was for your parrot/swords to carry over to NEW characters in live game. (the Landing Party key)

Network lag or graphics lag? See Answer 144 for info on how to tell and ways to fix each type. Although it sounds a bit like your ISP was having problems if you've been playing happily and didn't change anything. Might want to check with them.

I don't. Log a support incident. Include log files from when it was stuttering. Also, what happens when you turn down the graphics - does it change anything?

Looks like a couple of things.

First, when you subscribe, you need a valid payment method. To verify, SOE will send a request as it were, to your CC company for $1.00. This is to verify that the card is valid and belongs to you. This is pretty common for purchases via credit card (at least, here in the US).

It sounds like they're rejecting your card. The "charges" will disappear; they're not really charging you, just asking the CC company/bank if it is a valid card. They're not actually billing you. It's a "hold" as it will. As example, when I purchase something in a store, it "holds" a certain amount of my available funds until the charge completely processes. That's what these dollar charges are.

What you'll need to do is use a valid method of payment to get the subscription going. When you get a game card, you can cancel the credit card payment and use the game card instead.

It's possible that the buddy key someone gave you isn't valid. Was it a hard copy key from the retail box or did you get one from someone on the forums?

Did you enter it with spaces/hash marks? all caps? No caps?

The best thing to do is file a support ticket so someone can review your issue. You can do so by clicking on "Support" in the upper right corner of this page.
