I hear ya! It's definitely on our list of things to work on. It won't be in 1.4, but I'll try to get it on the schedule soon.

Hey, folks. We've been watching this issue, and there were some problems last week wherein textures were no properly being created after a flag or sail was approved. We fixed that that afternoon and went in and manually re-generated approved content with missing textures.

If you clear your userContent directory, you should see the content immediately. Otherwise, you should see it after 48 hours from the last time you saw it.

If either of these turn out to be untrue, open a support ticket, and we'll take a look.

As has been said earlier in this thread, whether a ship is called a "Ship of the Line" or not is immaterial to whether it's appropriate to add to the game at this stage. This varied from nation to nation and from period to period.

What matters is the gun count. If the ship has 50 or fewer guns (and all other historic data check out), all is well. Such is the case here.

The ship will be balanced as we (read: Taelorn) sees fit, though we do listen and take note of what people are asking for. This isn't necessarily the best thread for that though; I'd recommend the Ships, Ship Combat & Ship Skills forum for providing that feedback. The right folks lurk there more often than here

Whilst normally the VBulletin allows for an easy name change, it's not so easy since it is all tied together with your Station Account and User Content. I'd recommend submitting a Support ticket and if deemed appropriate or possible, the web team will let you know.

At 1920x1200, if I position them individually I can have F1, G, I and the Harbor Master open at the same time. With locked windows, this is not possible.


Is this improved in any way?
None of that has been fixed in 1.2 or 1.3, but we hear about the issue with UI locking a lot. We are planning to work on that soon. As for the personal contention level, it's possible we'll be able to address it when we work on maps, but I'm not sure.

You'll need to purchase the SOE distributed version of the game (which you can do with Digital Download from your location). The most important part is going to be the launcher for the game
