My recommendation is to follow up on the ticket. Ask for an escalation if you're not getting a good response out of Support so someone can see the issue. I don't have access to that system, so I cannot comment on the ticket. I can only point you in the correct direction.

Thanks for "self-reporting" -- I really, really appreciate your thoughtfulness, even if it came slightly after the fact! That is model behaviour that I wish we'd see more of I was able to find the flag right away and it should now appear as "withdrawn" on your behalf. (That, incidentally, seems to be a new bug in UC 2.0 so thanks for mentioning it!)

To answer your questions:

1) Yes, unless the logo was created before 1923 it's probably copyrighted and ineligible for User Content. It's also quite possibly trademarked, which poses additional barriers to using it in the game.

2) Unfortunately, just adding stuff to the logo is unlikely to prevent any copyright problem. You're always better off making your own artwork, or finding public-domain, royalty-free clipart to use.

Lastly, I had to remove the attachment to your post since copyrighted material shouldn't be posted to our boards.

We're finalising some updates to the 2D User Content Guidelines (including illustrations!), and have plans in place to make them available soon afterward in multiple languages.

If you feel a flag or sail of yours was sent back unfairly, the proper thing to do is to file an appeal by following the instructions in this thread. The 2DSC will examine your designs and either determine your content should be approved, or clarify what needs to be done to get it ready for the game.

We've been pretty busy with some different things, (we'll do an AnimCo devlog soon) and emotes haven't been a priority for us. Let me check to see if anything new has been added. Lindsey did a cool /fliptable, but I don't know that it's in working yet.

Thanks for the heads up, gang. This turned out to be a flag composited-onto-sky texture submitted as a sail, and it's been removed from rotation.

And better yet, make sure to use the "Report" feature of the forums and send in-game tickets if you find abusive/harassing behaviour in the game.

Plus, you can use the Ignore feature on the forums. I hear it is pretty handy.
