No Azzholes in the DEVCIRCLE. There, change it to that, much better.
Poor. Very Poor.

I'm actually pretty open to the notion of changing my avatar, far be it from me to intentionally offend folks. I certainly hope my communications with the community at large regularly displays a level of respect and appreciation for the contributions of all our customers.
Truth be told, there's a story behind my use of the "No Crying" avatar. When I first began using it, it was meant as a good-natured jab at a couple of our self-proclaimed hardcore PvP friends, some of whom I'd noticed spending much more of their time "crying the red circle" than those they were actively accusing of same. It was a gesture that, at the time, was used in total opposition of your assumption.
Frankly, I am a little shocked that you would think it appropriate to address anyone in this manner, let alone a member of team. Rather than ask me what my motivations are for choosing this avatar, you just presumed to know who I was and what I thought, and kicked off the conversation by being decidedly rude.
Thick skin is a requirement of my job, but situations like this remind me why we have
rules governing player behaviors. I'd encourage you to read those rules with special emphasis on the the fact that being abusive to an FLS staffer doesn't preclude you from adhering to them.
In any case, my apologies to the people participating in this discussion- if anyone has any additional concerns related to my avatar, or would like to suggest a replacement, I encourage you to contact me via private message. Further posts attempting to derail this thread will be removed.
Best,
Aether
